Snow Fort Coloring Page
About This Coloring Page
A snow fort is the wall a child builds out of snow and then hides behind, and the page draws the best moment of it: two children in warm hats and mittens peeking over the top, a row of big snow blocks stacked like bricks, snowflakes falling, a round sun and a few small fir trees on the hill behind.
The blocks are the page's big shapes, one rectangle after another for a toddler to fill and count, and the two faces above them are the small careful part: two hats with a bobble each, two pairs of round cheeks. The sun and the trees are the open space for whoever wants to keep going.
Ask who is hiding behind the wall and what they are waiting for. Then ask how many blocks it took to build, and the page turns into the snow day every child plans in their head before the first flake lands.

How to Use This Coloring Page
- Count the blocks first. Touch each one along the row and say the number. Then fill them one at a time, the same colour or not.
- Do the two hats next. One colour each, bobble on top. The stripes on the hats are the careful lines for a steady hand.
- Finish with the sun and the trees. Big round sun, three small triangles. Ask who built the fort and who is coming to knock on it.
