Snowboard Coloring Page
About This Coloring Page
After the skis page every five-year-old asks about the other one, the ride with one board instead of two sticks, and this page draws it: a happy child in a warm hat and goggles sliding down a gentle snowy slope on a snowboard, arms out wide for balance, two small fir trees and a couple of clouds behind.
The board is one long rounded shape for a toddler to fill, the puffy jacket is the big block of colour, and the goggles are the careful part: two small ovals side by side. The slope is a single sweeping line a child can trace with a finger from top to bottom before colouring anything.
Ask which way the child is going and where the hill ends. Stand up and try the arms-out pose on the carpet, and the page becomes a balance game before it is a colouring page.
Skills Practiced
How to Use This Coloring Page
- Trace the slope first. One finger from the top of the hill to the bottom. Then draw the track the board leaves behind it.
- Fill the jacket in one go. The biggest shape on the page, one colour. Hat and gloves can match or not.
- Goggles and board last. Two small ovals for the goggles, then the long board under the boots. Ask how they stay on.
